This beautiful hat is a very romantic wedding hair accessory. As with most of beaded artwork, the photos fail to truly show one of the most beautiful features - the ability to change its look under different lighting. This is especially true for this particular piece, handcrafted out of 8 different shades of cream, beige and pink beads. This may seem like a lot of colours for a wedding accessory, but in fact those colours mix together very nicely, creating an overall cream-white, slightly golden look.
A trim of the headpiece is decorated with small golden freshwater pearls. Different colours and textures of beads create a stunning glow. I tried to capture as much of it as possible, by taking photos on different backgrounds.
The headpiece can be worn over the veil, or straight on over hair.
Measurements: 55 cm around the band; 22 cm front-to-back, measured over the top
Materials: top quality Japanese seedbeads, 3mm freshwater pearls
