This pendant is part of my, 'Altered Timepiece' jewellery collection. It is crafted from a vintage wrist watch, this one is particually rare as it is a stunning gold tone. Clearly seen in this lovley industrial piece are little spots or red. These spots are in fact 'jewels'. They are industrial rubies 3 which are placed in watches to avoid wear and tare on teh metal pieces when they move together. This lovley feature results in creating a truly stunning internal mechanism. The internal workings of the watch are on display, the gold balance wheel spins with any movement and the beautifully machined steel parts catch the light.
My timepiece jewellery has been created with all stainless steel elements including the necklace chain, which in this case is 18ct gold plated.
This necklace is both industrial and delicate, intricate and ornate.
The pendant is hung on a 17" decorative chain and the pendant measures 2.4 cm in diameter.
The necklace will be packaged and presented in a velvet necklace box.
