I have been enamelling and making jewellery for 20 years. I was first introduced to enamelling as a student at Waikato Polytechnic. Enamelling is an ancient form of decoration that requires great patience and concentration. I love working with the different colours that the enamels offer and creating geometric designs. I then often incorporate these enamelled designs into hand fabricated silver jewellery which I make myself.
I am currently based on the outskirts of Hamilton, and I tutor part time recreational classes in jewellery making.
