Inspired by the quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Swim the Sea" measures 400mm diameter. It is cut from recycled steel and backed with blue acrylic and is ready to hang.
Suitable for outdoor use.
NOTE
Imperfections are part of the charm of recycled steel. It is designed to rust slowly and create its own unique patina.
Rust can be removed, as required, using white vinegar. Apply to the art with paper towels and leave for a few minutes. Wash with a wet cloth, dry and spray lightly with oil (cooking works well) then polish with a dry cloth. Repeat until desired effect is achieved.
Apply sea water or water to speed up the rusting process.
Once desired look is achieved, art can be sprayed with Penetrol to maintain the look.
