They are really good quality and good quality hooks. The only thing that saddens us is that they are taken from a painting of dead, stuffed Tui. They really are beautiful though, the nicest Tui earrings I've seen. I found delivery very prompt and great communication. I love the wee postcard, sent with earrings. Thanks so much |

I'm so glad that you both love wearing the Tui earrings!!! It is a strange, sad story that the birds were hunted and stuffed and then sent to England to be painted. The way I look at it is if we keep these images around us (and even wear them!) we are reminded of not only how beautiful the creatures are, but also how important it is to preserve our diverse ecology.
